Manicure at home for beginners

Manicure at home for beginners may seem like a difficult task, but everyone masters it, and many do not even go to salons, doing their hands only at home.

Manicure at home

The basic and simplest manicure set includes scissors for correcting the length of nails, cuticle scissors, a pusher or a stick to push back the cuticle, forceps, a nail file (preferably glass or even cardboard – they are the most delicate). We choose a nail file with the smallest grains. If you buy all these devices, then bypass the markets – there are definitely fakes there. You should not order devices via the Internet – all items need to be tested on yourself, and they are not cheap. Go ahead, to the professional store, and feel free to consult. Good tongs can last more than one year. This is if the sharpening is professional. You will also need a towel (preferably two), a cuticle softener, cotton wool, and aroma oils with varnishes to taste. It is better to do a manicure in daylight, but for the evening procedure you will need a lamp, the light of which falls on the table and hands.

Let’s get started!

I wash my hands well and process the devices, and hands too, with a disinfectant. Yes, the first time too. They wiped them with cotton wool and put them near you.
With a nail file, we give the nails the desired shape, holding the beam on both sides with your fingers.

Having given the shape, we move the cuticle and the nail roller, but so far very carefully. Apply a softener and place your hands in warm water. Special nail baths are also sold in nail stores, but this is actually an overkill. A regular bowl works just as well. You can also save on all kinds of magic water balls. This is ordinary soda and oils. You can make them at home too. But the water should not be too hot – so there is a risk of steaming the skin more than necessary, and cutting everything that is possible. The temperature is slightly higher than 36.6-37 – ideal. We wait 20 minutes and proceed to the execution.

    1. We move the entire cuticle back (you can pry it off with the sharp end of the stick if it is too thick and firmly attached to the nail).

    1. Now carefully pry it on the left side and quickly cut it off with scissors. You can refine it with forceps: we work with them gently, from left to right and from right to left to the center of the bottom of the nail. Usually we ourselves feel where it is not worth cutting. You can leave a little extra, and it will not be as noticeable as wounds on the skin.

    1. If the injury still happened, we treat the skin with alcohol and apply a cotton swab. This nail can be returned to last, when the wound heals. Just do it very carefully. By the way, work with all nails and fingers begins with the little finger.

    1. We finish this most dangerous stage with the removal of burrs. Remove them from top to bottom, with quick and precise movements.

    1. We take the nail file and finish the nails while they are still wet. Now you can bring the form to perfection. But they work with a nail file from the edge of the nail to its tip, and not vice versa. Otherwise, everything will exfoliate, break, and the form will not work.

    1. After that, you can hide all the roughness of the processing of cuticles and rollers with a grinding file. But this is done gently and carefully, without any extra effort, otherwise you can thin the nails at the root and the nail bed.

    1. You can seal the cuticle with a special oil: smeared and walked with a grinding buff.

    1. You can complete the procedure with a finger massage. We are great! Do not forget to process the devices again, wipe them as dry as possible (otherwise they will rust!), And put on the caps.

How to paint nails without knots, hitches and bubbles?

For beginners, this moment is even more frightening than the brilliance of manicure devices and work with tweezers. You can go by trial and error, study, study and study, or you can start simple.

To do this, you need to wash your hands, wipe your nails and apply the foundation. Let it dry, just don’t wave your hands. If the nails are not very even, then it is better to choose a leveling base, but if they are fragile and brittle, it is better to choose a strengthening one.

Now it’s time for the varnish.

    1. Having opened the bottle, wipe the brush on one side on the edge of the neck.

    1. Apply the first drop of varnish as close to the base of the nail as possible.

    1. Carefully push the varnish with a brush to the cuticle, then draw a straight line to the end of the nail.

    1. Now we put the brush again in the center of the nail plate, draw a semicircle to the left and draw a line to the tip of the nail.

    1. We do the same on the right side of the nail.

    1. We finish the end of the nail with the remnants of varnish on the brush so that the manicure is not only neat, but also resistant.

    1. When the first layer dries, apply the second one in the same way.

    1. We complete the manicure with a top coat. It will not only add gloss, but also prolong the life of the varnish, preventing peeling.

    1. If, during the application of varnish, it turned out to stain the cuticle or the skin around the nail a little, then a thin brush will come to the rescue, which must be dipped into the nail polish remover. You can also use a toothpick on which to wind a little cotton wool. We carefully wipe out all the errors and admire the results of our work!
